The Rohan Horse - Large

The White Horse of Rohan carved in a much larger piece! 

An very old pine shelf with a beautiful texture, which we highlighted with paint and finishes, had the perfect shape for a majestic statement piece, over 70 cm high, not including the hanging cord. 

The design is directly inspired by one of the banners hanging in the Golden Hall in the Two Towers, but every detail has been reworked in our own aesthetic. The whole piece has been given a slightly distressed finish, like a timeless piece hanging for generations in the hall of a Horse Lord of the Mark!

A heavy piece, deeply carved, this would really love a bright sidelight to pick out the three dimensional quality of the work!
