Collection: Dreamcatchers

Fauno's dreamcatchers are first of all a love song to our woods. Early morning sunlight brings out numberless beautiful dew-spangled spiderwebs, which form exquisite geometries within the countless random organic shapes of the forest. This is what we try to capture in our dreamcatchers.

They are woven from willow, goji, plum and quince and other pliable branches sourced from our own garden, orchard and surrounding woods.

All the feathers are ethically sourced from our own birds at moulting time, without causing the least inconvenience to the original owners. Many of these feathers are from Brahma chickens, which are well known for their sumptuous and abundant plumage. Some are from Cayuga and Rouen ducks.

We also use peacock feathers, similarly collected from peacock parks and by friendly peacock owners, and wild birds feathers found in the woods and pastures. Fauno's dreamcatchers are entirely handmade on our premises.
