Gil Galad - Bookends

Gil Galad's device, as sketched by Tolkien on an old postal envelope, here hand-carved in mahogany wood, painted a deep shimmering indigo and silver, set with white cabochons,  and mounted on two vintage oak bookends.

The hand-written runic script is Gil Galad's poem, as recited by Sam in the Lord of the Rings. 

These are heavy, solid bookends, an unusual find.
