Upcycled - Moth and Moon

A vintage salt box stripped of old varnish and revamped by a folksy hand-painted motif of stilised moth and moon phases, chasing comets, stars, sun, and a surprise eclipse! Slightly distressed to highlight the shapes of the box, and finished with tinted carnauba wax for that touch of timeless patina.

Hand painted beads and silver bells give it a playful, whimsical feel.

We do not recommend using this for salt, but it would be perfect for matches,  keys or other small objects.

It can be hung with the provided cord from a knob or hook, or remove the cord, and screw it on a post or other suitable support!
