Painted - Sacred Scarab

Upcycled  exotic wood plate carved and painted and enriched by opalite cabochons and a glorious dark blue labradorite. 

The deep teal and gold scarab is inspired both by Egyptian and Art Nouveau motifs and symbolises resurrection, as it carries the sun to the underworld and back.
