Sprite of Fire

Another portable mystical pool with will o'the wisps and a very special guest, the Fire Salamander, one of the most charming little animals in our forests and folklore. Despite its affinity for water and predilection for wet rainy weather, this Salamander has long been identified as the elemental of fire in European folklore and even learned writings, and there's definitely something glowing, burning and ember-bright in its flamboyant appearance.

Fire or water, it is a wonderfully magical-looking animal.

Carved in boxwood and applied to a three legged mango wood bowl, hand painted and framed by clematis vines and up-cycled, hand painted leather leaves, this a little corner of Fauno's magical woodland that you can now keep in your home.
